Full detailed Itinerary

Depart from your lodging in Arusha/Moshi and head towards Marangu gate for registration. Begin your trek up the mountain accompanied by guides, porters, and cooks, passing through the lush tropical rainforest surrounded by coffee and maize plantations. Proceed along the path until you reach Mandara Hut, where you can find amenities such as dining halls and toilets. Enjoy dinner and spend the night at the hut.

Hike through the rainforest for the first stunning views of Kibo and Mawenzi. Proceed into the moorland zone which will lead you to Horombo Hut to arrive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Ascend through the alpine desert and reach the saddle nestled between the majestic peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi. Follow the trail that will guide you to Kibo Hut, where you will arrive around mid-day. Utilize the remainder of the day to relax and rejuvenate, replenishing your energy for the ultimate summit push. It is highly recommended to retire for the night as early as 19:00.

Wake up around 23:00 to add more warm clothes and headlamps. Leave the camp and start summiting by midnight into the glacial zone. The path leads to Gilman’s Point (5681 m) after a 6-hour walk to arrive at sunrise. Take another 1:30 hrs to Uhuru Peak (5895m) the roof of Africa. Have time for photographs and a little rest while at the summit. After resting for a while, start the descent to finally arrive at Horombo hut. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Leave from the moorland environment, heading towards Mandara Hut for some rest. Proceed with the trail to reach the final destination at Marangu Gate. Upon arrival, show appreciation to the team by tipping guides, porters, and cooks. Get awarded with certificates whereby golden certificates are given to hikers who reached Uhuru Peak and green certificates for Gilman’s Point hikers. Drive back to Moshi for a hot shower and many celebrations.

Depart at 8:00 and embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti lasting approximately 5-6 hours. Enjoy a delightful lunch upon reaching your destination, followed by an afternoon game drive to discover the expansive plains of Serengeti. Later in the evening, proceed to the designated hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Leave for a day’s game drive in the Serengeti plains. Game viewing to spot Big Five, hippos, elands, zebras, antelopes, and others. Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with game viewing till late evening. Transfer to the booked hotel for an overnight stay.

Leave for a full-day game drive to witness “The Great Migration” where thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles migrate to Maasai Mara in search of fresh pasture and water. Explore the plains while tracking the migration with predators like lions awaiting. Break for a picnic lunch and proceed with a game drive till late afternoon. Transfer to the designed campsite for an overnight stay.

Depart for Oldupai Gorge, an archaeological site housing the remains of our earliest ancestors. Enjoy a delightful lunch along the way and continue the journey towards Ngorongoro. Upon arrival in the late afternoon, you will be transferred to your prearranged hotel. Indulge in a delicious dinner before being escorted to the designated campsite for a comfortable overnight stay.

Start descending the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera which is home to a variety of animals and bird species. Game drive in the crater to spot Big Five, elands, buffalos, jackals, and thousands of flamingos. Break for lunch at a picnic site and proceed with a game drive till late afternoon. Ascend out of the crater and transfer back to the hotel. Dinner and Transfer to the designed campsite for overnight stay.

Depart from the hotel and head towards Nainokanoka village. Enjoy a brief stroll to the Maasai bomas, where you can immerse yourself in their cultural customs and traditions such as traditional dances and crafting of local handicrafts. Pause for a picnic lunch before returning to Arusha.
