Spanish Angel Expedition  Safari guide will collect you from your accommodation after breakfast. This morning, you will drive to Tarangire National Park. The transit drive is approximately two and a half hours on good tarmac roads. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire than anywhere else on the planet! The huge and ancient Baobab trees can be seen here. Some of them are said to have lived for more than a thousand years.
Lunch will be at a picnic site inside the Park. After your game drive, you will transit to your accommodation in Karatu.

The Serengeti is truly a sight to behold. Its expansive open grasslands provide the perfect setting for incredible wildlife sightings. While it is home to a diverse range of wildlife, it is most renowned for the annual Great Migration. Countless wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes follow a yearly migration pattern, constantly in search of fresh grazing lands. The migration can be witnessed at any given month, as long as you know where to look! Depending on the time of your visit, you may have the chance to witness one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the Natural World’.
During your adventure, you will enjoy a delightful picnic lunch and spend the night at a comfortable Tented Camp located in the heart of the Central Serengeti.

Following breakfast, you will embark on a scenic journey towards the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder is concealed by towering volcanic walls and boasts a pristine wilderness comprising vast savannahs, clusters of acacia woodland, shimmering lakes, and lush swamps. The Crater itself was formed millions of years ago when a colossal volcano erupted and collapsed upon itself.
Descending into the Crater is an exhilarating adventure in its own right. As you reach the Crater floor, you will be greeted by an abundance of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 species of birds. This remarkable ecosystem also offers the best opportunity to catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino, which occasionally roams the open grasslands.
After a fulfilling afternoon exploring the Crater, you will proceed to your accommodation in the charming town of Karatu.

Today, your journey will take you to Lake Manyara National Park, the final destination of this incredible safari! Located 120km west of Arusha, Manyara is a small yet diverse park. What awaits you here is truly awe-inspiring. The park is both compact, being one of the narrowest parks in Africa, and epic, with the Great Rift Escarpment towering over the western boundary of Lake Manyara. The park gets its name from the shallow, salt lake that covers a significant portion of its area. This lake experiences seasonal flooding and drying, attracting thousands of wading birds, including flamingos and over 500 other bird species. As you explore the park, keep an eye out for baboons and elephants in the dense evergreen forest, and don’t miss the opportunity to spot the famous tree-climbing lions that have made a name for themselves across Africa. A delightful picnic lunch awaits you inside the park, adding to the overall experience. After your exhilarating game drive, you have the flexibility to choose your drop-off location, whether it’s Arusha City, Kilimanjaro Airport, or Arusha Airport.
